TO WILDLIFE WARRIORS!

Leading marine tourism operator The Quicksilver Group will donate AUD $10,000 a year for the next five years to Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors charity foundation.
Mike Burgess, CEO of The Quicksilver Group of Companies, announced the donation at the Queensland Tourism Awards held in Brisbane last Friday night after accepting the Major Tour & Transport Operator award for The Quicksilver Group.
“As a leading eco-tourism operator, Quicksilver recognizes the importance of the Wildlife Warriors and the work the foundation is achieving in this arena.
This significant donation will continue for the next five years to support the goals and objectives of Steve Irwin’s considerable legacy,” said Mr Burgess.

Mr Burgess’s contribution to tourism over the past 40 years was also recognized at the ceremony when he was awarded the Marie Watson Blake Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual.
