Island Life

"Island Life"
We would like to thank all the staff at Green Island for making our stay one of the best nights of our lives and a very special thanks to the head chef at Emerald’s for the best dinner we have ever had! All the staff were very helpful and so full of information about the island. The fish feeding was great and once in the water with them, even better. The follow up with drinks on the beach was beautiful.

Thank you! Ramons, Queensland.

Coral on the Great Barrier Reef There are over 400 species of corals found on the Great Barrier Reef! Whilst you are at the reef, have a close look at the different types of coral. Staghorn corals form vast beds in the protected shallow lagoons, and are one of the most abundant and colourful of all corals. Boulder corals are solid and can be very old (up to 1000 years), with soft corals occupying the reef flats and reef fronts as they8 are more adept at dealing with wave motion.

Look out for our new look Quicksilver Outer Reef and Great Adventures Outer Reef brochures for the 08/09 season. They’ll be available on our websites soon.
