RAVE REVIEWS FOR SILVERSWIFT
In service since December 2006, the brand new 29m Silver Series dive and snorkel vessel, Silverswift is proving a star performer in the Cairns market. Custom-built at a cost of $3.5million, she is the only Cairns day dive vessel to visit 3 sites daily and taking just 60 minutes to reach the outer reef, is the fastest. This means more time for aquatic adventures! Like her identical sister ship based in Port Douglas, Silversonic, she features a state-of-the-art ride control system for improved passenger comfort. These are the only two vessels in the region with this patented ride control system.

It was a once in a lifetime encounter for passengers aboard the luxury dive and snorkel vessel Silversonic when Migaloo, the rare white humpback whale, was sighted swimming just north of Undine Cay. The extremely excited passengers and crew were in awe as Migaloo was sighted with two other humpback whales either side of him, described by Skipper Shane Down as his bodyguards. Quite fitting for this ‘celebrity’ whale!

POSTCARD: from EMMA:
What a magnificent, impressive boat! Beautifully designed, practical, functional, still looks, feels and smells new! A very clean, quiet, smooth, fast, sleek and unbelievable vessel - just gorgeous. Most importantly stabilisers on the boat for the “weak @ stomach” & bad weather! Excellent equipment, 3 sites, fastest boat from Cairns, 1st site in an hour! …Silverswift is most certainly a 5 star boat from top to toe - the vessel, sites, equipment, food, staff service.. |

"HOW DO FISH SEE?"
Fish have eyes very similar to a human, but not all have excellent colour vision. Shallow water fish, especially tropical fish, can see a broad spectrum of colours, however deep water fish are usually quite limited. Fish’s eyes are positioned to allow excellent all round viewing, but some have their eyes on top of their heads, as they have a bottom dwelling existence. |
