AWARD HONOURS FOR QUICKSILVER KEEP COMING

It’s been an exciting period for the Quicksilver Group, receiving many prestigious accolades and we’d like to share some of them with you.

On November 10th, for the second consecutive year, the Quicksilver Group was acknowledged at the prestigious Queensland Tourism Awards as the State’s “Major Tour and Transport Operator”.

Just one week later, Quicksilver Cruises was inducted into the Australian Travel & Tourism ‘Winners Circle’ as the nation’s Best Tour Operator, having won this category for the past two years.

The annual Australian Travel & Tourism Awards are conducted by the Australian Newspaper with voting based on readers’ choices.

“With both of these awards voted by industry and consumers, this is wonderful recognition of the professionalism and dedication of our teams in delivering a high standard of service across a range of Great Barrier Reef touring options,” Quicksilver Group Managing Director, Tony Baker said.

Some of Quicksilver Group Celebrate The Quicksilver Group will now represent Queensland in the Australian Tourism Awards to be held in February 2008.

It is also with a great deal of pride that Green Island Resort was the only Queensland finalist in the Australian Hotels Associations annual Awards for Excellence as the Best Environmental Initiative.
