QUICKSILVER GROUP SUPPORTS EARTH HOUR 2008

On Saturday 29th March the Quicksilver Group will be supporting the WWF global environmental initiative, Earth Hour 2008.

With the aim of increasing awareness about climate change, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off lights for one hour.

Between 8pm – 9pm all non-essential lighting across our operations will be turned off. For guests staying at Green Island Resort, that will include candlelit dinners in Emerald’s Restaurant and stargazing with the island activities officer! Out on the Great Barrier Reef, Pro Dive’s liveaboard dive boats will also be participating to support Earth Hour.
