Beauty abounds on the Reef - Miss Australia Universe experiences beautiful Agincourt Reef

Former Miss Australia Universe, Kimberly Busteed, enjoyed a day out at Agincourt Reef with Quicksilver including an introductory dive, during her recent visit to Port Douglas.

She's pictured here with Quicksilver Dive instructor Darren Bourke. Here’s what she had to say…

On taking her first introductory dive: “I had an absolute ball. I was quite paranoid about sharks to begin with, however once down was faced with the most beautiful surroundings. It was very tranquil and I just loved it.”

Highlight of your Quicksilver day?: “Definitely the scuba dive. To be able to forget about the outside world, and discover the shelves on the sea floor with all the coral and marine life was magnificent. Darren was fantastic. I had the best time scuba diving.”

About Port Douglas: Port Douglas is beautiful. I hired a bike and went for a big ride around the town. It is very homely, and everyone is so friendly. I just had the most relaxing fantastic time. The people, weather and even food was amazing! I am looking forward to returning with some friends soon.
