Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef on show in China

Celebrating the Nanjing shop opening

While the eyes of the world were on China’s Beijing Olympics, Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef were on show in China with the opening of four new branded retail travel shops with leading travel agenices in Eastern China.

This now brings the total to ten Cairns and Great Barrier Reef branded travel shops in Southern and Eastern China. These latest shops were officially opened in July 2008 in the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang with wholesalers Nanjing CYTS, Ningbo Zhelun Overseas Travel, Hangzhou International Travel and Wenzhou International Travel.

As well as Quicksilver’s range of Great Barrier Reef products, local tour operators joining this initiative to promote our region are Seawalker @ Green Island, Scuba Doo, Cairns Optional Tours Alliances, Skyrail, Kuranda Scenic Rail and Cafe China.
