Group HR AssistantMaternity Relief Contract - 8 months



Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this role requires the successful candidate to provide HR and general administration tasks for Quicksilver Group and its companies. This a maternity relief contract.

HR / Administration duties of this role include:

  • Assisting all departments with recruitment
  • Managing WorkCover cases, including registering claims, writing and supervising suitable duties programs where required, and aiding a positive return to work culture
  • In conjunction with the Group Human Resources Manager assist with WorkCover administration and the Quicksilver Workplace Rehabilitation Programme
  • Assist the HR Manager with reporting and administrative duties, including but not limited to preparing a monthly Administration reports relating to OHS, training, WorkCover claim summary, etc.
  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes for Meetings and preparing miscellaneous reports, memos and letters
  • Point of contact for staff grievances and assist in the investigation

Previous experience and a thorough knowledge of is expected:

  • Workcover and acting as a return to work coordinator
  • Current WH&S legislation and application in the workplace
  • An understanding of IPaM for the Organisation and how it can be applied within the Group
  • A generalist application of Human Resources practices to ensure lawful compliance

This is a full time salaried role.
