Sue O'Donnell Sunlover QuicksilverSunlover Holidays chose Sue O'Donnell has been appointed as Green Island Resort's new General Manager. Green Island Resort is a beautiful 46 room eco-sensitive resort located 45 minutes from Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef. Sue commenced with the resort in 2005 and was formerly the Rooms Division Manager.

Tony Baker, Managing Director of the Quicksilver Group said, "We are delighted that Sue has accepted the promotion. Sue has a wonderful knowledge of the resort and island and has been an integral part of the Island's management team, in particular playing a major role in the recent guest suite refurbishments."

Sue O'Donnell said, "I look forward to continuing to create a wonderful experience and environment for our guests. With the reward of living on Green Island surrounded by the beauty of rainforest and reef, even witnessing turtles hatchings, it is the ever changing dynamics that still engages me after 5 years of living here. With 36 live on staff it is a wonderful community and I look forward to my new challenges."

Tony Baker thanked the outgoing Resort General Manger, Lisa Krause for her commitment to the Resort and Green Island for the past 5 years. During this time Lisa has overseen the soft refurbishments of the resort, upgrade of the general public areas, developed strong relationships with Queensland Park and Wildlife Service and worked to develop a strong stable staff group. We wish Lisa all the best as she joins the Rydges Group in Cairns.
