About the role
We are looking for a Homestyle cook for our Staff canteen on Green Island.
A superstar who can prepare breakfast and cook lunch and dinner for around 40 plus staff and can work within a budget.
Reporting to the Executive Chef your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and cook home style cooking for our staff meals – lunch and dinner
- Prepare breakfast for the next day
- Work within food cost structures
- Prepare a menu over 7 days using standard recipes
- Ensure correct usage of foods allocated
- Use work practices that reduces waste
