  • Located on beautiful Green Island (27km offshore from Cairns, Queensland)
  • Permanent Part Time position (approximately 30-35 hours per week)
  • Hourly rate - $25.85 plus applicable penalties

    • Free daily vessel transfer from Cairns

About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be at the heart of the island providing house guests and day visitors with friendly and outstanding service from the moment they arrive. 

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager your key responsibilities include: 

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival to the resort and providing excellent customer service throughout their stay
  • Check-in house guests and promote and book resort services/ activities to enhance guest experiences
  • Coordinate reservation enquiries and bookings via online booking systems, phone calls and emails
  • Provide Porter services such as transporting guests’ luggage to and from resort rooms and transfer vessels, communicating with vessels over the radio regarding arrival times and requirements, and ensuring vessels and gangways are safely secured to ensure guest safety
  • Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Be willing and able to work a rotating roster, that will include weekends and public holidays
  • Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran, plus stay overnight on the island for up to 2 nights per week
