Conventions and Incentives

Field trips are becoming a key component of many conference groups and Green Island Resort is providing a wonderful opportunity to showcase our commitment, innovation and dedication to the world heritage environment we live in. With most conferences there is a "green" element that focuses on sustainability and we provide a back of house tour guided by our engineers to understand the Resort’s best practice management commitments. We produce 100% of our own electricity and water and the tour includes our desalination plant, tertiary treatment plant and water management.

Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef recently hosted 24 buyers from Sell TNQ, a conference and incentive trade show managed by the Business Events Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
