Post Card to Green Island Resort
just wanted to write and say that we had the best holiday we've EVER had, with you guys recently. Not only because it's such a beautiful place, but you're staff were exceptional.
I wanted to make particular mention of Russell, a waiter in your restaurant - not only was his service impeccable, he was warm and friendly and we only regret we weren't able to bring him home with us! Also wanted to mention Dominic, his night tours were so much fun and the kids really loved it, he made us feel right at home.
Thankyou to all the staff at Green Island! My wife, children and I plan to visit you again soon.
You will often hear the term Bommie used when discussing dive and snorkelling sites.
The term is not normally used in scientific papers but is usually understood to describe anything from a single coral boulder to a large reef structure. Technically it is a small patch of reef in column form in usually a sheltered lagoon. It is attractive to divers and snorkellers because of the diversity and abundance of marine life.
The caped tour crusaders!
What do you get when 18 local tour desk staff team up to experience some of our region’s finest tours and attractions? It’s the “Superfamil” of course! Dressed very fittingly in Super Hero costumes, the caped tour crusaders headed off for two action-packed days to experience our regions delights from the reef to the rainforest with Quicksilver, GBR Helicopters, Down Under Tours, Blazing Saddles, Skyrail and Kuranda Scenic Rail.
Experiencing Cairns Attractions
It was a busy time during May with two major Chinese agent famil groups visiting Cairns, China Peace Travel and China CYTS Outbound Travel Service.
The groups were able to experience a number of attractions including the Great Barrier Reef with Great Adventures, Hot Air Ballooning, Blazing Saddles, Down Under Tours, Kuranda Scenic Rail, Skyrail, Cairns Night Zoo and Kuranda Koala Gardens.
